Can you coach our team in their development and performance, keeping Verve’s goals in mind? Are you strong in your communicational and administration skills? Then you're the People Manager we're looking for!

As a People Manager at Verve

You have a central role in the organisation. You listen to the team’s needs, know how to motivate the team to grow and align with the Unit Leads about the team performance.

New team members find their place in the organisation with your support.

You work closely with the Founders, Unit Leads and Head of Operations. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the process to onboard and welcome new team members, in collaboration with Management
  • Responsibility for the happiness of the team, by conducting regular surveys and doing 1:1’s with team members on a regular basis
  • Fulfilling a coaching role in the team and focus on career and personal development, with Verve's goals in mind
  • Initiating and leading performance assessments (twice a year) in consultation with the Unit Leads
  • Responsibility for absence management and administration (vacation, sickness, special leave)
  • Ensuring correct HR administration, contracts, and payroll administration
  • Writing vacancies, aligning with and contacting candidates
  • Consulting with management regarding employee performance
  • Being the go-to person for the team for any confidential matter and/or non-project related challenges

About you 

  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources

  • HBO working and thinking level

  • Available 32 hours a week
  • Of which minimum of 3 days work at the studio in The Hague
  • You live in or near The Hague
  • Are an outgoing, empathetic and people-oriented person with excellent communication skills.
