As an office manager at Verve

You work on supporting and enriching our company culture. With your ideas, hands-on mentality and hospitality mindset you make every client and colleague feel at home at the studio.

The job is really diverse with a lot of fun things on your to-do list. One moment you are ordering books and flowers, the next moment you’re welcoming guests at the studio and a few minutes later you are facilitating a desk for a new employee. You ensure that everything at the studio runs smoothly and colleagues know where to find you when they need help.

A workday to get an idea:

You will start the day by checking the agenda for upcoming visitors to the office and make sure the meeting rooms and the studio are in great condition. You’re welcoming guests and giving them a warm welcome. Then it’s time to pick up on projects, like organizing the next team event. In between you respond to your Slack-messages and catch up on your email. 

When the morning moves into the afternoon it is time to prepare lunch and set up the table for the team. After lunch you’ll make sure everything is tidy again. In the afternoon you check up on other projects, like interior design for the studio. You give some love and attention to our green jungle and you make a few orders for office supplies or help with administrative tasks. At the end of the day you make sure the studio is tidy again, and off you go!

You’ll work 30 hours a week, preferably divided over five weekdays. 

Your resume shows

  • You have minimal 2 years of experience in hospitality and/ or office management.

  • You’re fluent in Dutch and English, speaking and writing
  • You have a MBO+ level of thinking.
  • You have an open attitude and a caring personality
  • You can easily switch between tasks and are a real go-getter
  • A plus: knowledge of branding or work experience at a digital agency
